Bathroom and vanity
The room where the seams show.
A bathroom is a small room seen from close range, in hard light, every day. Tile gives you a grid of grout lines to keep clean. Slab gives you a wall of stone with two or three joints in it, and the whole job comes down to where those joints land and how the veining carries across them.
Granite, quartz, marble and quartzite, cut for vanity tops, full shower walls, tub decks, curbs, window returns and slab shelves. Templated on site, fabricated in our shop and set by the same crew that builds the chimneys and the pool decks. The standard does not change because the room got smaller.

What you get
See the full slab first.
We keep a covered slab gallery and an outdoor pavilion at 2010 Chapin Rd. You walk the gallery and see the full slab rather than a chip, then pick the piece that goes on your wall.
One crew, stone to finish. Template, fabrication and installation under one roof. One contract and one number to call. The same company is answerable if something needs to be made right.
The walkthrough
The Backyard Blueprint Walkthrough.
An hour at the Chapin showroom, with the slabs in your range pulled and racked.
The Backyard Blueprint Walkthrough
- Tour the showroom, the pavilion and the covered slab gallery
- Hand-pick your stone by eye, not from a sample chip
- Time with the craftsman who will build it
- A hand-drawn concept and a fixed all-in price
- The See It Built tour: stand inside a completed build
“The number we quote is the number you pay. No allowances, no surprise change orders. The only thing that moves it is a change you ask for, and we tell you before anything is cut.”
